I'm a postdoctoral research scientist working with Liam Paninski in the Zuckerman Institute at Columbia University. My research focuses on using techniques from statistics and machine learning to analyze large neural and behavioral datasets.
I completed my Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics working in the Neurotheory Lab of Dan Butts at the University of Maryland, as well as a B.Sc. in Physics and a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Oklahoma. When I'm not trying to understand how brains work I enjoy spending time outside, playing around with procedurally generated art, and remaining ignorant of good website design principles. Please have a look around the site!
